The valley station of the Kaprun glacier lift is just 2 km from us and the Schmittenhöhe, Maiskogel and Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski regions are also within easy reach. Our guests can also use the free ski bus.

Diversion is guaranteed and all below listed ski areas have one thing in common: perfectly prepared pistes, freeriding sites, fun parks, modern lifts, ski schools and, of course, rustic ski inns for the all-important après ski!

Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski region – 2 km: 41 kilometres of pistes for skiing fun throughout the year, 3 parks and the world’s longest fun slope

Schmittenhöhe ski region – 11 km: Zell’s mountain impresses all who visit with 77 kilometres of pistes which are hard to beat when it comes to diversity.

Maiskogel family ski area – 6 km: children, beginners and young ski enthusiasts will all feel at ease on the manageable slopes of this family ski region!

Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn – 30 km: With 270 connected kilometers of slopes, it is one of the three largest ski regions in Austria and offers ultimate skiing pleasure! Gigantic freeride area on the Tyrolean side!

Since the 2019/20 ski season, you can reach the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area directly from the village of Kaprun via the Maiskogel thanks to two gondola lifts. Simply genius!
